The mission of Celebrate Delaware Bay is to build an inclusive community–that will protect the Delaware Bay for the essential habitat it provides shorebird and horseshoe crabs- through education and direct action.

Coordinated by the Executive Office of the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network, Celebrate Delaware Bay works with many organizations, communities, and individuals to achieve this mission and engage people in conservation action, throughout Delaware and New Jersey’s Delaware Bay region.

The Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network (WHSRN) is a science-based, partnership-driven, conservation strategy for protecting the ecological integrity of critical habitats for shorebirds throughout the Americas. Administrative, technical, and outreach services for WHSRN are provided by an Executive Office, housed in Manomet .
